Data Deletion Instructions

Sign in, then go to Settings → Account → Danger zone and confirm deletion. This immediately and permanently deletes your organization, users, posts, media library records, brand profiles, and connected social account credentials from our database. It cannot be undone.

When cloud object storage is configured, Posterboy also attempts to delete stored media files under your workspace's storage prefix at deletion time (uploads, Studio images, and related objects). If a storage delete partially fails, we log it for follow-up; email hello@posterboysocial.com if you need confirmation that media is gone. CDN caches may briefly continue to serve previously fetched URLs until cache entries expire.

To remove Posterboy's access without deleting your account, disconnect the account in Settings. Disconnecting removes our stored Facebook/Instagram credentials for that location from our database so we can no longer publish or refresh those tokens. You can also remove the Posterboy app from Facebook or Instagram under Business Integrations.

If you cannot sign in, email hello@posterboysocial.com from the address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request". We verify the request and complete the deletion, then confirm by reply. Requests are handled within 30 days, and usually much faster.

After deletion we retain only what the law requires or what exists in routine encrypted database backups, which expire on a rolling schedule. Stripe may retain billing records under Stripe's own policies. See the Privacy Policy for details on what we collect while your account is active.
